Tooth-Colored Fillings

Unlike traditional amalgam fillings, tooth-colored fillings can – as the name implies – repair a decayed tooth without modifying its appearance in the process. Instead of dark gray metals, tooth-colored fillings are made from composite resin, a biocompatible material that can be color-matched to the exact shade of your enamel. Once we’ve replaced the decayed portion of your tooth with the resin, no one who sees your smile should be able to tell the difference!

Dental Crowns

For cases of more extensive decay, we can encase the tooth with a dental crown to preserve its remaining structure and renew its full function. Dental crowns can be crafted from numerous materials, including durable metal for the back teeth. However, many patients prefer crowns made from porcelain or other tooth-colored options. That way, their restoration blends in with the surrounding teeth while also protecting the tooth from further damage.

CEREC One-Visit Restorations

Traditionally, placing a dental crown or other restoration required two appointments: one to prepare the tooth and capture impressions, and another to bond the restoration to the tooth. Thanks to CEREC technology, that is no longer the case. By using computer-aided design and manufacturing, as well as an in-house milling machine, CEREC allows our dentists to design, fabricate, and place your crown, inlay, or onlay in a single visit! This makes it more convenient than ever for our patients to get the care their smiles need.
